banks

Jeb and I have always had two bank accounts. One being Navy Federal Credit Union. Mainly because it's a credit union and that's the one we got into with Jeb being in the military. When we lived in California, we also had Washington Mutual. I have had Wachovia here at home, and Bank of America in Cali and here. Well, we didn't use Navy Fed much because they aren't everywhere like the other banks. And it takes them forever to take money out of your account! I am a stickler for balancing our checkbook! AND Navy Fed will do things like take the money out for a transaction...put it back in...then take it out again! UGH. So, we always kinda of stayed away from that account, but hung on to it because of all the advantages you get with a credit union. However, recently we have been getting sick of having two accounts. I am tired of always going to the bank and having to take money out and put it in a different account and transfering money back and forth and blah blah blah. Well, we got both our direct deposits switched over to Navy Fed and we are in the process of closing out Bank of America account. And while balancing my checkbook this morning I am remembering why we never kept Navy Fed as our main bank account. uuuggggghhhhhhhhh. oh well. Too late to go back now!

On another note, once again, there may be some changes in the Britton household. Changes for the better maybe. Who knows.

Oh and Cheesecake factory tonight for Jeb's birthday dinner.
